Selecting a Tuxedo

It’s probably easier than you think.  Many grooms are stunned to learn all the details that go into planning the perfect wedding.  They hope the job is done once they select the perfect engagement ring.  A few observant men have watched closely as their friends marry and know it is not as easy as it looks.  We love all these guys and want to help with a few of the items on the wedding checklist that fall in the column marked Groom.

Selecting a tuxedo falls into this category.  And while it may be daunting to walk into a formalwear store, this might be one of the easier hurdles to overcome.  The following guides will help you determine the style for your wedding.

Casual Wedding

These weddings usually take place on a golf course, on the beach, or on the beautiful patio of someone’s home.  All bets are off for these.  From open collar shirt, rolled up sleeves, silk pants and classy sandals (with pedicured feet, please) to a sport coat with tie or open collar and coordinating linen or khaki pants.  These events have no special rules except cleaned up and smelling wonderful.
